Free Kick 2 was curled over the wall from approximately 30 yards. TIP: Your Virtual Pro doesn't need to be that great at shooting from distance to score Free Kicks in FIFA 11. These two Free Kicks were scored in my Virtual Pro's 5th Game in an Attacking Position, therefore at the time he didn't have high Attributes for the skills which would have made him better at Free Kicks (eg) Free Kick Accuracy, Long Shots, Shot Power. To me it seems like the Ball naturally curls a lot more from Free Kicks in FIFA 11 when you compare it to previous FIFA Games. Therefore , for these Free Kicks I adjusted my aim for the line of the shot to start wider than usual. Then when pressing the shoot button try not to put too much power on the shot, as anything over half the power gauge will see the ball end up in Row Z. Then for the curl I held the Left Stick to an exact Left position, (ie) West, without holding the Left Stick diagonally Up or Down. The Goalkeeper struggled to get to both Free Kicks because they were curled into the bottom corner of the Goal. This is very likely to be the key to scoring Free Kick Goals in FIFA 11.
